Signs of Spring

Here's what I love...SPRING TIME!!!  I absolutely love how God brings out the sunshine, the birds, the little critters (not so much the bugs, though), the leaves on trees, and the buds of flowers.  I love being able to open the window's to house and letting the happy breeze blow in.  One of the best things about spring is spending time together outside.  We decided to take a trip to the N.C. Arboretum to look for the signs of spring on a nature walk.  While there weren't too many plants in bloom, there were plenty of opportunities to show Cecely and Titus how God was already at work in nature.  We can't wait to go back and see the blooms in a few weeks!  I hope you and yours will make a trip to the Arboretum.  There are plenty of wonderful trails from super-easy to difficult.  Every trail will show you some of the beautiful wonders of living in the amazing Blue Ridge Mountains.  It is well worth the $8 (for a car load).  Here are some pictures from our trip to the Arboretum!
Describing how a Venus Fly Trap works...those things are creepy.

Pitcher Plants trap and drown insects...yikes!
