St. Patrick's Day, 2012

Here's something I love: random holidays that land on a Saturday.  In my head that means: THEME PARTY!!!  Heck, yeah!  Last week in school, the kids and I explored the life of St. Patrick as well as learning about Ireland.  We read fictional stories about leprechauns and watched documentaries on the beautiful landscapes of Ireland.  The most fun day was listening to Irish music and watching some videos of Irish dancing.  Titus LOVED dancing his jig!  All of this lead up to a St. Patrick's Day party at our house.  We invited friends and family over to share a meal, follow Seamus the Leprechaun's treasure clues, and to make tie-dye t-shirts (tie-dye because of rainbow colors, rainbow colors because of the rainbow, rainbow because that's where leprechaun's hide their gold).  The following are some pictures from that FUN day!
